Treasure Mountain Diamond Mine, Little Falls, Herkimer County, New York, USA
1.6 x 5.7 x 1.4 cm
The sceptered habit in the “Herkimer Diamond” variety of Quartz is an exceedingly uncommon feat that is seen in a very small amount of specimens that are specific to only the Treasure Mountain Mine in Little Falls. A particularly fine aspect of this scepter is how large and clear the rider crystals are. These included quartz scepters are a very rare occurrence in Herkimer Diamonds, as they are only found in little falls, rather than the classic “Herkimer” locales.
