Wire transfers available, to set up
An undulating carpet of Tsumcorite covers this small cabinet specimen, among the richest of the species we have seen! The rich carpet of Tsumcorite is made up of dark yellow to orange-yellow prismatic crystals that, under a loupe or a microscope, have an almost feathery appearance. The Tsumcorite crystals occur in divergent, radial, rounded sprays to 3mm across and patches of grouped microcrystals. The best crystals on this piece occur in a recessed area containing numerous radial aggregates of crystals that are well-preserved. Tsumcorite is a lead-zinc arsenate hydrate. Although Tsumcorite has been found at other localities, Tsumeb is the type locale and this is certainly among the larger and showier examples of the species here. ex Marshall and Charlotte Sussman collection (the first iteration, sold to Arkenstone in 2005), and Nauke Oechslin Collection (sold in 2000 to the Sussmans).
