A marvelous jewel of gem grossular garnet crystal from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The grossular is extremely transparent, gem quality with a superb luster and pleasing orange color. It is 9mm big with a sharp rhombic dodecahedral habit. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In very good condition – back side contact. On acrylic base.

Fascinating!
