A spectacular and highly aesthetic specimen of Blueberry Fluorite, featuring intense deep blue to blue-violet fluorite crystals contrasting beautifully with a bright white quartz matrix. The exceptional color contrast gives this specimen a striking appearance, with the vivid blue fluorite standing out dramatically against the snow-white background.
The specimen is composed of numerous well-developed fluorite crystals and crystal aggregates, ranging from small, sharply defined cubic crystals to larger intergrown formations. Many of the crystals display rich, saturated blue coloration, while some areas show attractive variations from lighter blue to deep violet-blue tones. The fluorite has a pleasing vitreous luster, and the strong color zoning and natural distribution of the crystals create considerable depth and visual complexity.
The white quartz matrix provides an excellent natural contrast and acts as a perfect canvas for the intense blue fluorite. The combination of the bright matrix and dark blue crystals is particularly attractive from the display side, giving the specimen a dramatic and almost artistic appearance. Numerous smaller fluorite crystals are scattered across the quartz surface, adding fine detail and enhancing the overall three-dimensional character of the piece.
This is a very attractive collector's specimen with excellent visual impact, strong natural coloration, abundant fluorite coverage, and a highly contrasting white quartz matrix. The distinctive “Blueberry” appearance makes it an especially desirable addition to a fluorite collection and a superb display piece for collectors who appreciate specimens with strong color contrast and abundant crystallization.
