Fluorite from Bergmännisch Glück Mine, Frohnau, Annaberg-Buchholz, Erzgebirgskreis, Saxony, Germany

Bergmännisch Glück has produced a kaleidoscope of colourful fluorite specimens over the years, yet this specimen from a find in 2024 still really stands out to me because of its beautiful sky blue colour, contrasted nicely with a bright yellow core and purple outer zoning. The fluorite has a rather striking clarity that further enhances these colours. Near the top of the main crystal it has a slight hint of green due to a Frenkel defect.
