This is a striking natural Gwindel Quartz crystal from Pakistan weighing 25 grams and measuring approx. 36x32x16mm. Gwindel is a rare twisted formation of quartz where the crystal grows in a spiral, stacked pattern along the a-axis — a favorite among Alpine quartz collectors.

This piece shows excellent textbook Gwindel habit with distinct platy, overlapping growth. It has good clarity with natural iron oxide staining in the crevices and internal fractures that create small rainbow iridescence when caught in light.
