Zektzerite
A significant example of the very rare species, named after collector Jack Zektzer, found just a few times in a very difficult terrain in remote Washington state. This is a rare cluster with and overall beautiful geometry. We obtained a small group of these from Jack long ago and faceted some, which we sold to the Smithsonian and to collectors. If you break the crystals open, there are small bits of gem rough inside. We don't do that, except for broken crystals! This is a really quite significant specimen for any exhibitor of rare species and is a full-sized thumbnail for competition as well.
