The world's richest find of this gorgeous rare species in the Republic of the Congo, which owes its color to a combination of copper and zinc, has produced a modern-era bonanza for collectors of this formerly quite rare mineral. This is an opportunity to grab one now, while they are relatively contemporary, these being from 2024 finds. Who knows if more will come, but I suspect this will come and go as most other finds in this region. These are not only rich for the species, they are simply beautiful, with blue upon another blue for contrast. The clusters here measure to 1 inch across, and feature highly lustrous splays of veszelyite crystals on hemimorphite matrix.
