This is one of our largest and richest by far of veszelyite specimens from a 2024 find in this remote region, that are just among the richest and prettiest of species - ever. Also, a few pieces such as this came out in amazingly large plates, that are also colorful and pretty. We were happy to obtain several at the time. Veszelyite is a rare a copper-zinc secondary species; and not only are these rich and important, they are simply beautiful because of the sparkle and the contrast as the veszelyite sits atop hemimorphite (colored blue by copper content). The result of this combination is that we have lustrous glassy rich royal blue crystals atop this powder blue base. We were privileged to be able to select some wonderful specimens as this production came to market in February of 2025, and selected the pieces you see in the current update of which this is one of the largest.
