A superb miniature specimen of deep inky cornflower-blue crystallized Vauxite from the Type Locality and premier locality for this species. Convexly-curved radial Vauxite crystals form superb botryoidal mounds to 2 cm wide. Vauxite is a rare and complex hydrous iron-aluminium phosphate and, in this specimen, is sandwiched between a white pearlescent matrix on both sides, showing the constrained vein space in which the Vauxite grew. A very well crystallized and beautifully coloured example from the Siglo Veinte mine in Bolivia. Ex Professor Werner Paar collection.
