Tourmaline on Microcline$3,000.00

Wire transfers available, to set up
A single heavily striated and perfectly terminated opaque black Tourmaline crystal set in a milk-white matrix of naturally etched Microcline Feldspar. This handsome specimen is from the Anzar army camp at Hanuchal on the famous Skardu Road, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. Based on the appearance of the crystal and the mineral list in mindat, it seems most likely that the species is Schorl. The crystal measures 7.8 x 3.8 x 3.5 cm, has a high glassy lustre and leans at an attractive angle on the contrasting white Microcline base.
