For something completely different, this was sure a head-scratcher here when we unpacked the collection of Kurt Hefendehl - a pegmatite-origin danburite crystal not only with tourmaline, but also with stilbite! Rarely do you see danburite from a pegmatite with gem crystals. And stilbite, a zeolite, even more uncommonly associated with tourmaline — let alone, the three together. This is a gorgeous miniature combo specimen. The danburite is 3.5 cm tall and has a great and unusual blocky termination. The gem rubellite tourmaline is 1 cm.
