This smoky quartz from the French alps has the unusual gwindel habit, with apparent twisting present. Gemmy interior and lustrous exterior, this specimen has an aesthetic presentation, sitting up on a recrystallized section of quartz. Sharp edges and terminations, this miniature is in excellent condition. There are some impressions along the sides that are not damage.
