Gemmy and vivid, this is a colorful cluster of rare pink zoisite; also referred to as "pink tanzanite" by many collectors. This color variety turns up infrequently within small pockets at Merelani, the mines famous for Tanzanite, which is primarily blue zoisite. This beautiful, gemmy, parallel-growth zoisite has glassy, pink, slender crystals that cluster such that they portray a striking, modern skyscraper. This is a wonderful and untreated zoisite miniature with exotic color, sculptural form, and a mild orange fluorescence under LW. Slender and elegant, it is space filling without bring massive per se. With a mass of 1.64 grams, this aesthetic piece is a treasure.
