Brilliantly lustrous and equally GEMMY, this stunning yellow tanzanite has great form with its sharp edges and a perfect termination. Striations vary nicely depending on which prism face or which termination face you are looking at. This specimen is in the top percentile of quality for zoisite/yellow tanzanite crystals and for the species, in general. As a side note, this was formerly on loan to the Zhejiang Museum of Nature and Science in Hangzhou, China, displayed for a year in their gem crystals exhibition in 2019. Complete and pristine all around, this crystal is a gem both literally and figuratively. Better in person. Comes with a custom lucite base. 16 grams.
