Unusually refined and fine single crystal of Wulfenite, with a tiny bit of accenting matrix, from Tsumeb. Nearly square, with the longest edges being 2.4 cm, the size is impressive. Even more impressive is the super-high quality of the presentation side. A classic pillow shape with very high luster, the edges go from the corners to the small, central termination face both in straight lines and a rather unique offset pattern. Between the pleasant, straw-yellow color, high luster, and super-interesting habit, this is a terrific thumbnail with very little wear. Dr. Erika Pohl-Ströher - 40444.
