Peridot from Pakistan is world famous for large crystals with lime green color; and some of it even once was cut and sold as emerald to unsuspecting buyers in the distant past. However, most Pakistani peridot crystals above 1-2 inches are rounded, heavily rounded or smoothed, and do not show sharp terminations as we see here, making this a special piece. No repairs or restorations, and 79 grams in mass, together make this an imposing display crystal of unusual size for the sharpness. Moreover, though, it has the great lime-green color we want most, not too dark nor too light! The color is shocking and intense, when backlit even gently, but it is also transparent to translucent even in ambient room lighting. It comes with a custom lucite base.
