Description
Elongated vugs in this small cabinet piece are lined with hundreds of bright royal blue, translucent, scintillating veszelyite crystals. The veszelyite are in fan-like sheaves of 3 to 5 mm, bladed crystals that are nicely splayed out within the fanned aggregates so that light plays off all of the component crystals. The veszelyite crystals are emplaced on an early generation of whitish gray, botryoidal hemimorphite. A sparkling and rich specimen for the new finds of early 2021 from a new tunnel in an old mine.
