A botryoidal example of veszelyite, still from a find unique in our experience, and reported from the Yunnan Province of China circa 2010. I bought this on the ground in China at that time, and had seen only one good pocket of the material , even still up to the present day. It is a style for the species unique in the world, not seen in other examples from Montana or Congo; nor in the abundant and recent finds elsewhere in Yunnan. I kept this one in my own personal Chinese mineral collection since then, as one of the richest examples known of the species; and also it has a special rounded, smooth beauty to it that combined with the color, really draws the eye. Complete, large, and a fancy color for a copper mineral, this is a significant example of the species.
