This subtle topaz specimen looks at first like just that, a tight cluster of sparkly gem topaz on white albite matrix. However, it is actually much more rare! It features inclusions of strawberry-red vaerynynite perched within the topaz at the apex of the largest and gemmiest crystal, which is 4 cm tall. The inclusions are EASILY visible in person, not fuzzy at all — though it is difficult to capture on camera. We have seen only one other such specimen, in a piece from the Herb Obodda collection, making this fairly unique. It is, on its own merits, a fine topaz specimen as well! A tiny fluorite is included as a bonus, hanging off one topaz. This came out in 2019.
