A strange oddity from the famous Swiss deposits of minerals in the High Alps, this is a complete, perfectly formed zircon crystal showing amazing symmetry. A floater, complete all around. Such zircons, while known, are usually a few millimeters to perhaps 1 cm. This is a giant! From the Swiss collection established over decades of searching, by American collector Brent Lockhart with sourcing from Siber and Siber of Switzerland. This is an important Swiss specimen, and an important locality zircon as well. Comes with a custom lucite base.
