Charlie Key helped find, finance, and bring to market the early specimens from this small artisanal mining area in Namibia, in the early 2000s to about 2010. Shortly after, he sold us his thumbnail collection (in partnership with Marshall Sussman); and we found a number of hidden treasures that nobody had seen before, such as these unusual wulfenite crystals. The sides are irregular and the surfaces on each side are waxy and shiny, but this is a wulfenite, even though a decidedly odd one. This was the best thumbnail in the lot we obtained at the time, somehow lost for nearly a decade before I found it and posted here. It might have some minor contact at the base, but it is hard to tell as the surface is already so irregular, and it is a crystal because of the front and back surface planes. Why it is so deformed, we cannot explain.
