A fine peridot from the world's most famous location for gemmy, lime green peridot crystals: but unusual in that most are single crystals whereas this is an elegant, pristine cluster of crystals in attractive balance. This makes for a very different, highly impactful style of thumbnail-sized mineral specimen than are most of them. As far as gem examples of peridot, it is unusually clean and transparent, as well. In person, it is bright and gemmy - this is hard to capture in photos. So let us just say, this is actually one of the finest such examples as a thumbnail specimen (for geometry, style, color, transparency overall), that we have seen among surely what must be thousands as they have come out since the late 1990s. It stands out. We had the chance to buy it from a video from a miner in Pakistan, and leapt at it, even before cleaning.
