A classic and finely crystallized small cabinet sized Siderite specimen from the Poudrette Quarry at Mt. St-Hilaire. One large and two smaller, lustrous, yellowish-brown siderite rhombs are set on matrix covered with small albite crystals. The large rhomb is 3.3 cm on edge and the two smaller ones measure 1.4 and 1.1 cm. All three rhombs are sharply formed rhombs and they're set on a contrasting white to off-white, finely crystalline Albite matrix. The big Siderite is rather large for the locality. Complete all around! Part of an educational set, with these additional items: Siderite ps. Ilvaite (SYP25-20b) and Ilvaite (SYP25-20c).
