These sharp Rutiles from Grave's Mountain are a modern classic from the USA and are actually hard to obtain in this good of quality in matrix. This single, untwinned Rutile is emplaced aesthetically on matrix and exhibits a rich wine-red color with almost a metallic luster and displays minor reddish internal reflections. It has sharply developed crystal faces and edges and measures 2.5 cm across. It's a nicely composed piece with the Rutile placed centrally on the colorful granular Rutile matrix that has variegated red-brown and orange-brown iron oxide staining for great contrast. Ex.
