Tucson, Arizona, USAThis fine large miniature specimen from Broken Hill, New South Wales, Australia features abundant well-formed bipyramidal crystals of burnt orange to yellow-orange Stolzite scattered and clustered over black and red-brown botryoidal Goethite matrix. The Stolzite crystals reach 3 mm in length and display a fine resinous lustre, showing flashes of internal reflections. As a bonus are rare clustered bladed micro-crystals of colourless to yellow-tinted Raspite - the rarer polymorph of lead tungstate. Ex Franz Lammer Collection.
