The Viboras mine, which still works a silver deposit at Machacamarca in the Potos' Department of Bolivia, is best know by collectors for its well crystallised Bournonite, a lead-copper sulphosalt. This lovely large thumbnail displays an attractive cog-wheel Bournonite crystal of about 2.5 cm diameter, sandwiched between plate-like layers of metallic silver-grey Bournonite.
