Bournonite (rare locality)
A curving stack of slightly lustrous, black crystals of bournonite, to 2.3 cm across, are aesthetically emplaced on a thin layer of drusy quartz. Accompanied by an old label and once part of the John Ydren collection (a California collector active in the golden years of the mid 1900s). Note the rare locality here - this is NOT a Herodsfoot piece, but from another mine altogether in Cornwall and much, much the rarer.
