From a small pocket found in the end of 2019, this is one of only a half dozen pieces of shockingly sharp, lustrous powellite crystals in a nest of lustrous, ivory colored stilbite crystals (here, to 2 cm in length). The single, lustrous and translucent, light honey-colored powellite crystal, is just over 2 cm in height. The powellite crystal fluoresces a bright yellow. This pocket has produced the finest of its species in many years, of which this is the choice miniature. Interestingly, I was asked if there were any thumbnails to be had - and this specimen could easily be trimmed into a "box-buster" larger thumbnail specimen by removing the stilbite on the left side. Exquisite miniature, as it is.
