An old specimen of the classic Chinese orange scheelites, showing wonderful vivid orange color and glassy luster. Note, however, that it has a highly unusual shape and LOOKS like a twin, with a strange twin plane in the middle. It is not a twin, but gives the illusion of a strangely twinned crystal. It shows a complex intergrowth of two generations of scheelite, as well, and is complete and interesting all around. From the collection of Bob Reynolds of San Bernardino.
