A very sculptural and interesting wulfenite, with contrasting colors: Several orange-yellow Wulfenite crystals are grouped together on this engaging piece in association with sky blue Shattuckite and greenish Duftite. Wulfenite crystals are relatively well-formed, platey tetragonal crystals that exhibit a satin luster with individual crystals to 2.3cm. One of the Wulfenites shows a contact from another previously intergrown Wulfenite crystal. On the backside of these larger Wulfenite crystals is a dull, green-yellow coating of what appears to be Duftite. Juxtaposed to the Wulfenite crystals is a colorful multiminerallic sliver covered in small crystals of pale yellow-orange, bipyramidal Wulfenite crystals, incomplete spherules of pale blue Shattuckite that fill the interstices between the Wulfenite crystals. and scattered small clusters of what appears to be Duftite. A nice little combination piece from the Onderra Mine, circa 2017-2018.
