Rose Quartz

A vibrant pink, "fence" composed of doubly terminated, Rose Quartz crystals serves as the foreground for this piece with a tight grouping of larger, prominent Rose Quartz in the background. The numerous Rose Quartz crystals in the front are in relatively tight, side-by-side arrangement consisting of 2 cm, doubly-terminated crystals that have translucent centers and gemmy tips on both ends for fabulous aesthetics. Behind this row of crystals stands a a composite of larger Rose Quartz crystals that aren't quite as distinct although very colorful. It has several, large, composite Rose Quartz crystals in a tight, grouping that range in color from saturated, translucent pink to a translucent, ever so pale smoky color that have an abrupt, but attractive uneven surface resulting from this portion of the specimen actually being a later generation layer of Rose Quartz over earlier formed milky Quartz as can be seen on the backside where it is contacted. This piece can be displayed with the Rose Quartz "fence" at the top or bottom. Bottom line after all this verbiage is that it is just damned impactful: A very attractive and texturally diverse piece that results in its unique aesthetic appearance and impact in a showcase, and far more so than most comparably sized specimens of this species.
