Bright and attractive, this is one of the more interesting combo's from China in recent years: Chalcopyrite/Siderite from Kaiwu. Fabulous luster and an ultra-clean, brassy-gold color highlight the tetragonal Chalcopyrites, and they range up to about 1.2 cm in size. The Siderites are bladed and sharp, and the distinctly different habits of the two minerals provide a nice visual complement to each other. Really a choice cabinet specimen, it is even better in person.
