Description
Emplaced aesthetically on a knob of contrasting sparkly dolomite matrix are lustrous, dark green spheres to 3 mm across, of conichalcite. This is an uncommon, calcium, copper, arsenate and it is rare in the form of such isolated crystals or crystal aggregates as you see here (forming little ball-shaped growths). This lovely specimen is double sided and can be exhibited in more than one display angle. From the original collection of Marshall and Charlotte Sussman, sold in 2003.
Known provenanceKnowing where your specimen comes from and who owned it adds to its story and value. Good provenance helps prove it's authentic and preserves important details about its discovery.
