Handsome aggregate of metallic-lustered, bright Copper crystals that developed into a unique form resembling a small pistol. A slight red patina is on the surface for coloration, as well. This crystallized Copper gun has a glistening curved spinel-twinned “barrel” measuring 3.6 cm. The “hammer” is composed of an intergrown grouping of small branches having subhedral crystals with anhedral Copper. An appealing Copper specimen with bright luster and interesting form highlighted by an exceptional and freestanding spinel twin. Overall a floater, complete all around. These coppers are from a small lot we purchased from an old miner's family in rural China, and were found here in the early 2000s. 41 grams
