Iridescent botryoidal crystallized smithsonite covering one side of matrix. In good condition, interesting locality example for the species.The Antler Mine, located in the Hualapai Mountains of Mohave County, Arizona, is a historic volcanogenic massive sulfide deposit with a rich mining history dating back to its discovery in the late 19th century around 1880, experiencing notable periods of production during World War I and World War II, as well as modern exploration and development phases. Geologically, the deposit is hosted within Proterozoic metamorphic and volcanic-sedimentary rocks of the Jerome assemblage, where intense hydrothermal activity and regional deformation concentrated massive lenses of copper, zinc, lead, and silver sulfides. Mineralogically, the ore body is characterized by primary sulfides such as chalcopyrite, sphalerite, galena, and pyrite, along with various colorful secondary oxidation products that formed near the surface.
