This is a classic find from the Campbell Shaft at Bisbee - a famous find among Arizona and malachite collectors that generally speaking has produced the finest malachite pseudomorphs of this style, in America. This balanced miniature features a sharp 2-cm-tall crystal of malachite (replacement after azurite) perched on a nest of acicular primary malachite. Long in IKONS book author Wayne Thompson's personal collection of Miniatures/Thumbnails built with his daughter, Stevia, when she was young. Laszlo Kupi photo.
