A striking cluster of transparent, gemmy, bright dolomite crystals of unusually high quality, no matter where from. But, they happen to be from Switzerland! With crystals edges to 2 cm, this complete-all-around cluster is perched on a small bit of matrix and makes for a large thumbnail specimen or a small miniature. It is nearly unprecedented in quality, and certainly best we have had. The piece glows in person, like glass - hard to convey in photos. From the Swiss collection established over decades of searching, by American collector Brent Lockhart with sourcing from Siber and Siber of Switzerland. This is an important Swiss specimen, and an important locality zircon as well. Comes with a custom lucite base.
