Sculptural and aesthetic, this beautifully curved and twisted silver wire, on acanthite, is from the Yueshan Ag-Pb-Zn deposit in China. The Silver is well-striated and lustrous, with a gold patina down near the 7 mm-thick base. Formerly in the Kevin Ward collection, the photo shows just how elegant and entrancing this cabinet size specimen is. This specimen was one of the earlier silvers to come out of China in the late 90s or early 2000s.
