For its size (small cabinet), this beautiful soft pink, to bubble-gum pink Cobaltoan Smithsonite from Tsumeb mine is a really attractive proposition. Featuring rhombic crystals to 1 cm in length (or 7 mm on edge) this is certainly a very visual piece with lots of wonderful colour, but there is some minor damage or imperfection in the growth of a few of the rhombic Cobaltoan Smithsonite crystals. Nevertheless, Cobaltoan Smithsonites with such rich intensity of colour like this one are often priced extremely highly. Ex Weyand Collection.
