This is a classic Tsumeb association of crystallized Cuprite with partial overgrowth of Malachite included Dolomite. However, some of the Cuprite crystals appear to be rhombic dodecahedra, which is an uncommon form for Cuprite crystals, with others more typical cubo-octahedra. Miniature in size overall, the Cuprite forms a relatively thick bed (8 to 9 mm wide) with well-developed crystals coating at least half of the surface, the remainder covered with Malachite and Dolomite. Ex Weyand Collection.
