A stunning example of rose quartz with saturated, unusually strong color, forming a thick ribbon stretching up and away from a quartz point, if shown vertically. You could also display it horizontally, in which case it is like a red river running at the base of that quartz point as a cliff....with equally surprising contrast of color and geometry. Particularly in the middle, the color hits an almost maroon-like intensity, and is among the strongest natural pink color you could ever see in a mineral. This piece was one in a small lot of pieces we obtained in early 2022 from this very special pocket, expensive even down in Brazil. Such color has not been seen before or since.
