The Green Monster Mine in Alaska, in addition to being a “Top Fifty” American mineral locality , has produced some of the world’s best epidote crystals. This is a very fine classic example with large blocky dark-green epidote crystals to a sizable 6 cm with minor quartz. Has an old collection label from the R.B. Forbes collection. A fine American mineral classic in great condition.
