Glistening green crystals of epidote throughout both sides of matrix with glassy gemmy crystals of colorless quartz. This is in good condition as seen.Semdinli, located in the Hakkari Province of southeastern Turkey, is a mountainous region that has recently gained international attention among mineral collectors for producing good mineral specimens. Geologically, the area features complex metamorphic and altered host rocks shaped by regional tectonic activity and hydrothermal processes. Hot, mineral-rich fluids circulating through fractures and cavities deposited silica-rich solutions alongside calcium- and iron-bearing components. This dynamic environment resulted in the growth of highly transparent quartz crystals intergrown with vivid forest-green to pistachio-green epidote crystals, creating distinctive matrix specimens.
