A wonderful specimen of tan smithsonite from the world-famous Tsumeb Mine in Namibia. The mine produced arguably the world’s finest smithsonites, and the variety of shapes, sizes, and colors is immense. This specimen features dozens of sharp crystals which got their color from iron and possibly minor cadmium. A fine example in great condition, with only minor damage to a few terminations. The most prominent crystals are sharp and clean.
