This individual, classically tabular Wulfenite crystal with bevelled edges is from Tsumeb mine and reaches an impressive 2.4 cm (almost 1 inch) on edge. Like most Wulfenite from Tsumeb its colour is not vivid, but a more subdued beige-brown, but with a fine resinous lustre and is slightly translucent with inclusions showing. The crystal, which is very well-formed, spans a small amount of reddish-brown finely crystallized matrix and has only slight chipping to its edges. This is a fine example of a larger Tsumeb mine Wulfenite crystal and comes from the famous generations-old Weyand collection from Tsumeb.
