Composed of exquisite GEMMY, hexagonal crystals up to 1.1 cm long, this tiny-but-mighty Gem Pocket mimetite thumbnail specimen well-represents this signature discovery from Tsumeb. Precisely terminated, the prismatic mimetites are glassy, yellow, and clear. Such are the exact characteristics of the mimetites from 1971's famous "Gem Pocket," and this is from that never-matched discovery. It is not large, but it is super-elegant! With the smaller crystals splaying off the one larger crystal, we have a balanced and aesthetic Tsumeb thumbnail. Dr. Erika Pohl-Ströher #45647
