This specimen is a prime example of the exceptional Brochantite specimens produced from the Milpillas Mine-considered by many to be the producer of the world's best and most desirable Brochantite specimens. All over the front side are thick, overlapping groups of deep green, partially translucent Brochantite crystals set against a contrasting grey matrix. Each crystal has an extremely dramatic glassy luster, which pairs well with the Brochantite's acicular formation. The bottom side of this specimen is flattened, allowing it to be displayed without needing a base.
