Here is a competitive example of an octahedron diamond crystal, with an adamantine luster, sharp edges with subtle growth details, and transparency that is hard to find in examples of this size. An example that is brought to life by its detailed patterning and layers on its octahedral faces, along with some striking orange inclusions, presumably iron oxide staining. At 11.55 carats, this is a rather large example of a Canadian diamond and came to us through a small lot purchased in 2019 from a dealer who obtained a sight holding of a large Canadian gem rough parcel. Anything we did not buy was cut. We have not been able to obtain other nice Canadian diamonds of this size since. 11.55 ct, 13.75 x 12.91 x 12.08 mm.
