This is a very attractive association specimen from one of the most famous classic Peruvian localities from famous finds of the 1980s and 1990s, now long gone. It is particularly elegant in form, with a classic curved growth style. There are several sharp, lustrous, prismatic, parallel growth crystals of Ferberite to 6 cm beautifully associated with slender, milky translucent Quartz crystals from 2 mm to 2 cm, mostly on the backside. The Ferberite crystals are mostly in parallel growth with some divergence and slight curvature. It's a nicely composed piece from this classic Peruvian locality. Part of an educational set, with these additional items: Ferberite ps. Scheelite on matrix (SYP25-04b) and Scheelite on Quartz (SYP25-04c).
